How to make a group booking?

Can the passenger make a seat selection?
To ensure satisfaction, passengers can select their seats at the check-in counter on the travel date without any charge.
Can the passenger make a flight cancellation?
After the airfare is fully paid and the booking is confirmed by the airline with booking reference and/or flight details, the passenger cannot cancel the booking and/or get a refund for the confirmed ticket.
Any recommendations for passengers wishing to make connecting flights?
Passengers wishing to make a connecting flight to their destination, should allow approximately 2 to 3 hours for a flight connection.

What to do if the ticket is lost?
In the case of lost tickets, the passenger must perform as follows:
- Buy a new ticket to replace the lost one.
- Fill in a petition form, which requires the following documents:
- A true, filed police report stating that the ticket is lost
- A copy of the passenger's ID Card
- Contact the Orient Thai Airlines ticket counter or the airline's head office with both aforementioned documents, to request a refund for the new ticket. A THB 500 fee will be charged.
- Within 60 days after filing a petition, the airline staff will contact the passenger for refund.

Can the passenger name or the travel date be changed?
To change the flight or the travel date, the passenger needs to contact the airline staff at the Orient Thai Airlines ticket counter or at Call Center 1126. The change will incur a fee of THB 500 per change per flight. In the case that the change is made to the flight or the travel date with higher cost, the passenger must pay the difference in airfare, plus the change fee as specified by the terms of the ticket and according to the validity period of the ticket. (Orient Thai Airlines reserves the right to restrict the usage of some kinds of promotion tickets.)
To change the name of passenger, a fee of THB 500 per change per person will be imposed.
What to do if missing the flight?
The passenger may contact the airline staff at the Orient Thai Airlines ticket counter to make a reservation on the next available flight or on the next day. If the change of flight is granted, the passenger will have to pay for any incurred fee as specified by the terms of the ticket and according to the validity period of the ticket.
Can a refund be claimed?
Orient Thai Airlines reserves the right to refuse the refund for any ticket in all cases – including the case where the passenger missed the flight.

Which types of documents shall be presented during check-in?
Each passenger must present an ID card or an identification document issued by a governmental entity (for a foreign passenger, a Passport), a paper ticket and proof of payment. Those booking online by credit card, must check-in with the PNR CODE and present the credit card with the airline staff at the check-in counter. In cases where the passenger cannot show such documents, Orient Thai Airlines may refuse the check-in.
When does the passenger check-in open and close?
The check-in counter opens 2 hours prior to the scheduled departure and closes 40 minutes prior to the scheduled departure. The passenger can check-in at any counter with the logo of Orient Thai Airlines.

What kind of in-flight service is offered?
During the flight, flight attendants will ensure the utmost comfort of all passengers. Complimentary snacks (roasted peanuts) together with hot and cold beverages will also be offered.

What items are prohibited in checked and carry-on baggage?
To ensure proper safety and security, prohibited items not allowed in checked and carry-on baggage are:
- Syringes
- Explosives
- Poisonous items
- Cans containing gases (aerosols)
- Flammable substances in both liquid and gas forms |
- Radioactive items, air-reactive chemicals, and other bio-chemical substances with high content of oxygen
- Highly corrosive substances such as alkalis or acids
- Matches

Are passengers allowed to bring liquids on flights?
Liquids, gels and aerosols will only be allowed in cabin baggage if they are kept in containers with volume of not more than 100mL each. Those in containers with volume of more than 100mL are not allowed on board. All containers must be carried in a transparent, re-sealable plastic bag measuring 20x20 centimeters. The total volume of the bag must not exceed 1,000mL. An exception is made for baby milk and liquid baby food in a reasonable quantity, as well as medication with clear instructions.
Can passengers carry a gun on flights?
Orient Thai Airlines may permit passengers to carry guns or sharp objects as checked baggage, but cannot be carried into the cabin or in the carry-on baggage. The passenger having such items should contact the airline staff at the check-in counter. Please be aware that such objects are subject to careful examination to ensure maximum safety for passengers onboard the flight.
How many pieces of carry-on baggage is a passenger allowed to take onboard the aircraft?
Each passenger is allowed to hand-carry no more than two pieces of baggage into the cabin. The total weight of carry-on baggage may not exceed 7 kilograms; whereas the weight for checked-in baggage should not exceed 20 kilograms. For every kilogram above the allowance specified, an excess baggage fee of THB 60 per kilogram will be charged.
What to do if the baggage is lost?
If unable to locate checked baggage upon arrival, the passenger must contact the airline staff immediately before leaving the airport. In the case of not being able to trace the baggage, the airline will compensate the loss based on the baggage weight at the rate of THB 100 per kilogram, but not more than THB 2,000 per one baggage, regardless of the value of lost items. Orient Thai Airlines reserves the right not to provide any compensation in the event that the passenger notifies the airline staff after leaving the airport.
Can I bring my pet on the cabin? Pets are not allowed on Orient Thai Airlines flights.

How does Orient Thai Airlines classify passengers?
The Orient Thai Airlines has classified passengers according to age, as follows:
- Infant: aged from newborn up to 2 years (on the travel date; required to sit on the lap of the accompanying adult passenger)
- Child: aged from 2 to 12 years
- Adult: aged 12 years and above
Remark: The fare for an infant is at THB 500 on all flights.
What should passengers who need special assistance do?
Passengers requiring special assistance are requested to notify the Call Center staff on the date of booking, or inform the airline staff at the check-in counter on the travel date. Passengers with disabilities or aged passengers, who need wheelchair assistance, should notify the Call Center staff on the date of booking. Orient Thai Airlines offers wheelchair service from the check-in counter to the aircraft, without any fee. Without prior notice from the passenger, the airline apologizes if unable to provide wheelchair assistance.
What is Orient Thai Airlines' policy regarding "unaccompanied child" passengers?
Orient Thai Airlines allows children aged between 6-12 years to travel alone. However, the parent or the guardian must notify the airline staff prior to the travel date and must sign the 'Unaccompanied Child' (UM) form.
What is Orient Thai Airlines' policy regarding "pregnant" passengers?
Pregnant passengers must inform the duration of pregnancy to the airline staff, and fill in the required form at the time of booking. Conditions for pregnant passengers are:
- For pregnant passengers with pregnancy of up to 27 weeks, a doctor's certificate is
not required.
- For pregnant passengers with pregnancy of between the 28th to the 32nd week,
a doctor's certificate indicating the travel date and that the pregnant passenger can
travel, is required.
- For safety of the pregnant passenger, the airline reserves the right to refuse carriage of a pregnant passenger with pregnancy of over 32nd weeks.
